    Just had it on BBC too.

    I just hope people are respectful to her passing instead of being insulting. Whilst we may disagree with a lot of what she did there was also some good, and we should not celebrate peoples deaths.

    Indeed. I don't see any point in having an Official Funeral, as it'll be hugely controversial and only get hijacked and lead to ugly scenes.

    Quite - people seem to forget that the public voted her in not once, not twice, not three, but in four consecutive general elections - not bad for someone who was allegedly so nasty.

    Sad news but she had been ill for some time.

    I guess now is the time for many on the left to hold parties. Most objective people realise she helped pull Britain back from the dark ages it had entered, giving us a few decades of decent living standards.
