Judi James - Dame???????????

Since when was she given the illustrious title awarded to the great and good females of our fair land and Commonwealth.

Why does anyone think that her evaluations of housemates on Big Brother are anything but stabs in the dark motivated - sometimes - by blind prejudice?

I think for the most part she is told what to say by the production team and regurgitates it upon request.

It's an affectatious name bestowed upon her by the BBBOTS staff....ridiculous, but then the whole show is so......nothing strange there. It's up there with the "be upstanding for your Queen"....Missssssussss Emmmmmmaaa Willllllis". All a load of crappola.

Ah, I see you've beaten me to it - I too immediately thought of this wonderfully talented actress the very first time I heard that charlatan Judi James laughingly referred to as 'Dame', despite the obvious fact that there is absolutely no comparison between these two women, other than they happen to have same first name.

I am sure they wouldn't mind up at the National Theatre if Denchy was ill, Judi could come on and play Lady Macbeth, doubt the punters would notice

I don't think it is, but it is nice to see a forum member try - vainly - to bring a rational explanation to something on BOTS.

Judi started her career as a leading catwalk model and trained many big names at her modelling school in Chelsea, Naomi Campbell among them.

    Alternative theory to discuss:
Urban Dictionary has Dame Judi as Rhyming Slang for "Stench"
How close do Emma or Rylan ever sit to her?

It irritates me. I actually know two Dames And both of them have worked extremely hard In their lives to deserve the honour. They aren't famous btw just deserving. It annoys me every time Emma uses it to introduce such a hack

Can't stand her and all her postulating. I equate her ability to read people by their body language to Mark's ability to read people's minds. It's rubbish filler for the show and I wish they'd spend that time doing something entertaining, or anything else, instead. Plus, I can't stand looking at her horse face and the way she speaks as if her jaw is wired shut. There, I said it.

Bugs me too if I am honest.

There is only one Dame Judi as far as I am concerned and that is the wonderful, beautiful and stunningly talented Ms Dench.

I don't agree with the system at all. As for Judy Dench, she is a marvelous actress, noboy couls in their right mind dispute this.

I would like everyone to refer to me as 'Emperor and Commander of all he surveys AOTB' from now on. I think it's kinda catchy.

    Hope that's cool?
