Past CH4 would have been more ironic and less titillation, this is more CH5 than CH5.

    Quite depressing really.

    Zombieland is on Film4.

And yet 50 Shades flies off the shelves and rape fantasies are VERY popular with some women today...

    Good point well made

Is there such a thing as good rape and bad rape?

    See, the 70s have warped my tiny little mind;

So why is it just a fantasy when women say it, yet it is un PC when Benny Hill does a sketch about it?

the ironic thing about any kind of moral outrage over tv in the 70's, is that no-one bats an eye lid over lingering bikini shots of women in the shower on i'm a celebrity, or moans about kim kardashian getting her tits and arse out again and again. people may moan about pans people, yet think miley cyrus is empowering women.

the 70's are over with and tv was of its time. why bitch about it when it's not going to come back. by all means watch this program (i am) but lets not get worked up eh.

    rant over.:D

The difference these days is that women actually have many, many more options yet often still choose to tread the well trodden path of objectification.

    Sad really.

God, this is terrible. Having said that, there are myriad dramas about women being attacked, mutilated etc these days.

I think the point of this programme is to show television though. You wouldn't see stuff for like this on BBC or I TV anymore. Yes we now indulge in hardcore porn and watch saw films for entertainment but it's a niche and you have to seek it out.
You wouldn't get blatant racism or sexism on television now.

And why is it "seduction" when a female teacher rapes a male pupil, and a pussypass is applied... and genderflip it - and the bloke gets the book thrown at him...

And in our more enlightened times, we have a bumper sponsor advert with a woman having an orgasm over a car.

Missed the showers in im a celeb ?missed the reversed sexism making men into thick sex objects in adverts selling washing powder ? It's still rife but it won't be noticed until people are gasping at it in the 40s. It's the norm now , the norm only shocks when seen in a rear view mirror

Louis CK did a clip where apparently he was in a sexual episode where the woman actually wanted him to rape her - not even safewording it ...

He backed out - rape is THAT distasteful to all but the sociopath... and yet the woman he was with was asking for this...

Could this be part of the darkest part of the feminine shadow?

Talking about health, where are all the fat and obese people so commonplace today?

People look slimmer then, even if there was the smoking
