i remember my uncle bringing hes spectrum round with wild bunch and rambo games
i think the first console i played was one called activison and a game called space battle
then we got a spectrum and played so many good games on it

then i got the nes and then i got the snes late but the snes was such a good machine with classics like super empire strikes back super castlevania mario kart starwing zelda street fighter turbo
i then got a n64 then after that i had a break from gaming then got a ps2 when pes 3 came out,
i had a gamecube but sold that soon after buying
then i got a xbox then a 360 then sold both and got ps3 xmas 09
and still have it

I'm 42, started many years ago with intellivision and an Acorn Electron.
Someone in my BF4 PC clan is in his 70's , its not how good you are its all about having fun is his motto.
31 here, been gaming since I was 18. I'm a huge fan of the Ape Escape series, also the Driver series too-I enjoy the online mode of Driver San Francisco. Also enjoyed GTA V, a true epic of a game. A lot of my gaming is replaying my extensive collection of PS1, PS2 and PS3 games. I'll get a PS4 when they do a slimline version, and they come down in price, with a more well-rounded selection of games.

Owned many handhelds from OGB to PS Vita, just moved on from Wii to PS4 after PS1 & PS2. A little bored with tablet gaming and keen to get into proper console gaming again.
Finally completed PS2 game Ring of Red after 13 years (previous save date was 2001!)
Got a PS4 on Black Friday - I suspect these prices to be the norm now for a year old+ console. Enjoying the Dualshock after so long with the Wiimote. This is a proper controller (although I do have two Wii classic controllers for multiplayer Goldeneye...)
36 here, i can remember about 10 years ago my parents saying to me "are you not a bit old for games". Now whenever i go to see them they are both on the ipads usually on the games rather than watching tv.
Funny thing is i now i spend more time watching netflix than gaming unless its the weekend.

My 57 year old dad still has a PS2 for playing Final Fantasy games lol He wont upgrade for the newer ones, just the PS1/PS2 ones!

I only just managed to afford a ps3 last Christmas
But I am looking forward to getting when I do afford it The Evil Within, Among the Sleep, Dreadout, and Asylum.
I play COD a lot, Black Ops 1 and 2. Modern Warfare 2 and 3. I also play Need for Speed Undercover and GTA 4.
