Mum's got to go for an operation to have the mass in her stomach removed, they will also remove the ovaries, womb and appendix! Talk about a clear-out, she'll be 2 stone lighter! Dad will obviously have to go into care for the duration
Hi Ali:) God you are having a rough month, don't know how you cope with it all. I hope everything goes well for your mother. By the sounds of things she will have to have a lot of help after the op:(
Time for the Last Night of the Proms.....always enjoy this:)
Where's David Cameron when you need him? :D
I love it in spite of all that blessed flag waving. Love the music.
Mind you, that mezzo soprano - couldn't understand a word she sang - she wouldn't get through the X Factor auditions!
Just reading in the Guardian about some male conductors, Russian ones , saying that there some things women can't do - conduct and throw balls. What a load of ;jalfhaiosuh;oeutrqwhad!
Some men can't bear it when women manage to do things better than they do!

I thought it was a bit tame this year....usually it is quite lively:(

Laura's first week back at Gateway, so a nice long day. Gives me a chance to spend some quality time with Mum. Eye test first though, best get cracking ... I take them very seriously as glaucoma has affected two generations in my family now (my Grandma and my Dad) so I make sure I don't miss those checks!
Whoever asked... yes I am watching CBB, but it's hard to get into after being so involved in the civilian series, a break would have been nice!
Did anybody watch The Guilty last week? Second episode on now - I'll watch it on the +1 after BB and before BOTS.
I'm going to say that, in my opinion after seeing the first episode, I think the older son did it (even though he would have been only about 7/8 at the time). We'll see

That's a great approach.:)Have you been watching cbb?
Hi Eileen
Get rid of Abby Clancy for a start! Can't stand her!
Everyone else is either funny, or interesting or good looking
Hi Kay...Yes I agree...really loves herself. Can't remember his name but one of the new guys is a bit of alright;)
Ashey Taylor Dawson???

Ben Cohen the rugby player is a bit of a looker as well
 Thought you weren't going to touch X Factor with a barge pole
They just seem a much more relaxed panel with Sharon there.
He's one of the new Strictly dancers:o
You can't trust a word that comes out of my mouth can you:o:)
I agree, Sharon has improved the panel:)
Well, I swore I'd never watch it again. I don't think I'll go out of my way. If anything else is on, that will take priority.
Oh, do you mean the Lithuanian guy? Rather than the Brit!
Me too:)
That's the one....if I was just a few years younger:o:p;)

As long as Carol or Lauren don't win!
Will it just be called 'Mail' from then on?
