    I must be getting old...i thought Arcade fire played one veryyyy long song...and now I think Metalica are playing the same song for a long time....

    has Prog rock concept albums come back .....

    First time listening to Metallica.

    I can see where The Mars Volta got some of their ideas from.

    Just had to turn Bryan Ferry off. He just seems to be going through the motions. Remake-Remodel was a real disappointment (though his band were good).

    Doubt i'll ever end up at a Metallica gig but as for this tonight it's been a blast. Anyone who play and speak as passionately about music is alright in my book.

    Jake Bugg....sounds alright.

    in fact as much as i like Metalica... but turning over

    Jake just sounds mellow and harmonious and helping my headache and ears.

    A few Fan Club members are drawn at random each show, and get to meet and greet with the band. On this tour, they've also been allowed to stand side of stage if they wish, so I assume at least some of the people behind them tonight are those winners.
