Has anyone seen the ridiculous row breaking out on Twitter over allowing "Mighty Red" to appear at matches?
If that's one of our biggest problems we're looking okay
It's ridiculous. It's not as though he's gonna be on the touchline dancing like a moron, he's literally only appearing to escort the child mascots off the pitch.
A question if I may, does anyone here know what is happening to Yesil?
I remember him coming to your club from Germany amongst a bit of fanfare, then I think he got an injury, but after that I am unsure at what stage in his development with you he is at.

His development is 18-24 months behind where it should be, two ACLs. But he's back (touch wood!) and scored tonight, his movement as a fox in the box is excellent. I'd say the club will be anxious to keep him in the U21 squad rather than loan him. Just to be on the safe side.

Ahh many thanks for the update, it is never nice to hear of a young and talented player suffering such potentially severe injuries such as two ACL's.
Good to hear that he is back on the road to a full recovery, and scoring will only boost his confidence.
His tale sounds a bit like the one we have expierenced with Will Keane, who was on the cusp of our first team a few years back, only to get a major injury training with the England under 19's I believe it was at Preston, and that set his development back a long easy, and he hasn't sadly looked the same player since.

I hope that Yesil has more luck on his comeback.
Not only was this a TLDR post, it was incomprehensible.
What's the point of you being all smarmy in here anyway, we all know it won't be long before you're slagging us off again in the United thread?
I wasn't being smarmy, I was genuinely saying good luck to the young lad, there was no hidden agenda on my behalf.
Too long, don't read.
You do realise your posting history is easily searchable right? There's been numerous occasions where you've been all nice in here, and then made little digs in the United supporters thread, as if we can't possibly notice.
That is the only reason I can think of, by giving the new boys some game time today, could help Rogers determine what team he puts out on Tuesday, but then of course I could be totally wrong.

Hopefully we can get a result today as well.

C'mon RED MEN !
Giving him less game time today, could make him more fresh for the Champions League game next week.

It's no surprise, we've only won one of our last 5 games against them at Anfield.
