The song that gets on everybody's nerves is probably the worst song every written.

But I'm assuming she had nothing to do with the writing but it's so bad it's funny which makes me like it :D:rolleyes:

Angels. As the first and by far the biggest of RW's biggest 'let's think up random fulsome, simplistic rhyming crap' lyrical efforts, it's the most dire and sophomoric, and so damned imprinted everlasting as it is upon the consciousness of the dim-witted karaoke hordes, who are only interested in the 'and through it aaaaaaaaalllllllllllllll' bit anyway.

Belfast Child by Simple Minds must be one of the worst (best?) examples of pop going woefully misguided. Tedious hours of musically soporific 'worthiness', that fortunately never gets resurrected for public exposure these days.

    3 words - Cheryl and Will.i.am

Especially Will.i.am's bit where he goes:

"I told her you are the love of my life and
One day you gonna be my wife and
We are gonna have some babies together"

    AND

    "I said, i - l - o - v - e - y - o - u
    I'm so into you girl
    She said m - e - t - o - o
It's obvious I'm so into you boy"

I would say Come on Eileen but that song just gives me a migraine.
Possibly Jeremih - Birthday Sex. I just want to poke his eyes out for the sentiment and the spelling of his name.

No, please say Come On Eileen, it is truly utter shit. Turaluraluralurayaaay? Oh, kneesaapmavvabraaahn man, FFS

Relax is also up there with my 'must turn off/skips', which is especially annoying when it seems to be included mandatorily on any and every 80s/electro album going. 'Ooh listen to us, we're saying 'come'

I like that song :):o A cheery song but quite thoughtful and profound imo at the same time.

It's probably Cry by Kym Marsh. That song has always stuck with me because of its awfulness. The lyrics are particularly bad.

That's definitely up there. I'd love to say Angels by Robbie too but while my hate for that song is everlasting I don't think its quite as bad as the above. Or Swagger Jagger - who knew you could make such an annoying song out of Oh My Darling Clementine.

I can't stand that song. The annoying part of it is that it's a staple at parties and you can't escape it
