This is a bizarre story, I couldn't resist sharing it.

What makes it even more weird, is that the unfortunate man looks like Cosmo Smallpiece, alter-ego of the great Les Dawson.

How did he think he would ever get away with it - especially with his job?

I'm surprised that man coudn't get himself a girlfriend instead of having to stoop to such behaviour.

Yes, you'd have thought so wouldn't you.

Appropriate name you have for this thread, cosmo! :D

I actually feel a bit sorry for the bloke. The Daily Mail readers seem quite sympathetic too, unusual for a 'string em up by the bollox' type of paper. The 2 year jail sentence seems harsh, he will have to live the rest of his life in shame which will be punishment enough for what was a well respected man. Obviously he shouldn't have done what he did, and I'm glad he was caught, but I do have some sympathy for the dirty ****er.

It was the breaking and entering that did it for him, that's serious stuff.

Stealing ladies scanties from the washing line is one thing, I mean we've all done that , haven't we ? oh well maybe just me then, but breaking in to someone's house and rifling through drawers is a fruity fetish too far.

He'll be out in 6 months.

Two years does seem a bit harsh.

Maybe he should have been made to walk around town in the manliest underwear available, if there is such a thing.

IMO it's right that he's been prosecuted, who knows where his obsession may have led. In the same way that flashers are profiled as tomorrow's potential rapists who's to say that a half naked man committing sex acts in womens' homes as he stole their underwear wouldn't go a lot further one day, perhaps if a woman suddenly returned home.
