When all your favourites have gone what do you do?

Do you carry on watching but find it all a bit of a bore or do you find someone else to root for?

I'm afraid my favourites are going early on this series... Sophie, whom I think Kelly will pick and James who was really bad tonight and disappointed.

I'll probably carry on watching and hopefully find someone else to root for.

    Well, in previous years, I've been lucky and had acts last a long time.

    Tabby, Shayne, Leona, Same Difference, Diana and Stacey. All top 4+ :)

    I switched off last year after Treyc went though (due to the fix re. telling Cheryl to pick first so Katie would survive). At that point, I only had one favourite left standing (Aiden) but he went the week after so I really wasn't bothered about keeping up with the show.

    If my favourites all managed to go out early in this series, as long as it wasn't in a manipulative, fixing way (ie. Treyc style), I would still watch and back the next best thing.

    Past few years I've had long-lasting acts. Same Difference, Diana, Olly & Matt. Although Olly become a favorite because Lucie went, so when Janet & Amelia go I'll have to find a new friend.

    For the first time, I didn't bother tuning in for the finale, the only finalist I supported was Rebecca as the others were so unlikeable. Plus, Matt's win was predictable.

    Choose someone else to support until the end but my favourites always win so I don't ever have that trouble

    I started watching in series 5 and my favourite was Austin. He left so early but I continued to watch. Next series, it was Danyl, he got pretty far. Following series, Matt was my favourite and he won :D

    This series it's James, i'm not optimistic :(

    I continue watching though.

    I don't really have proper favourites - I don't tend to get too invested in the acts. As long as an act I don't like doesn't win I'm happy :P. My great X Factor moments are usually when my least favourites get booted...

    my favorites each year have done well

    rowetta finished 4th
    brenda finished 4th
    leona won
    series 4 was a pile of **** and i gave up after 2 shows
    alexandra won
    lucie was favorite in series 6 but even after she went it was still entertaining
    didnt have a favorite last year but it was still good

    I began watching in 07, my fave was Niki - she came 4th. Then I supported Same Differecne as I loved them. Then when it was the final 2, I just didn't give a shit. I was happy for Leon but I didn't like him.

    2008 - Alex was my fave since week 1 luckily for me!

    2009 - Stacey since the first audition, and when she came 3rd - Olly!

    2010 - Rebecca and Cher pretty much tied, but Rebecca just edged it. She came 2nd and I liked Matt too so that was good.

    2011 - Amelia! And she's in danger of a shock exit tomorrow...

    My favorites will be gone by tomorrow too :(. Last year when my favorite left (Aiden), I ended up rooting for Matt (as I also liked him too).

    I'll probably lose interest but will continue to watch.

    Leona was my favourite from the start in series 3.

    Alexandra,Diana,Laura and JLS were my favourites in Series 5. Laura went way too early. :(

    Stacey was my favourite how she didnt win over Olly and Joe is still shocking to me.

    Last night I was in spain so couldn't make a big judgement as I only watched the semi finals and the final.

    This year I love Mischa,Sammi,Craig and The Risk.

    I would love for Mischa to make the final along with Sammi,Craig,and the Risk.

    I haven't really had that problem.

    I only really started to watch religiously when Cheryl joined the judging panel in series 5 (2008).

    Series 5 (2008): Alexandra Burke - Won.
    Series 6 (2009): Joe McElderry - Won
    Series 7 (2010): Rebecca Ferguson - Runner-Up

    So all my favourites have been in it until the very end. This year, I'm backing Janet and Amelia.

    What will I do, what I always do. Keep watching. Thankfully I have my favourites but I don't seem to get emotionally involved like a lot of the posters here do so if someone I like goes then it happens, I move on and keep watching :D.

    The only time my favourites went early was the year Leon Jackson won, I basically lost interest in the rest of the competition as I liked no else left in it.

    I developed ultimate mega hatred for Matt after his comments about Wagner - so his win was fairly excruciating. I hate every moment he is happy.
