Sky News journalist Colin Brazier going through a suitcase of a victim of flight MH17

A media Professor describes it as 'a horrible moment for journalism'.

Typical behaviour of the media. Just seems he's been caught at the dark art.

Along with random folk just going up and taking pics of the bodies and wreckage. There is no respect for anything nowadays

Have heard and seen about this about locals having been found looting and using cards from the dead. Hopefully, they will be brought before courts but don't hold your breath!

People did the same during the Blitz, including firemen. Vultures picking over a disaster area isn't new. It isn't right but not new.

Yeah, but they didn't usually do it for public entertainment...

Any reporter/journalist involved in this kind of stuff is likely going to regret it career wise.

In one sense it's like raiding a grave in the search for a "hot story". And we know that's what he was after.

It's all very creepy and a little bit ghoulish, very inappropriate behaviour.

Saying that, we are talking about Sky news. The very same people who still employ Kay Burley, the woman who was involved in the scuffle and chasing MH370 relatives up the escalators.

And she made Peter Andre cry on live TV!

me neither shes such a horrendous ghoul, always there in the face of tragedy to rub it in but with fake compassion.....ghastly woman! I remember her in the April Jones murder coverage, unforgiveable she was with her gossip mongering and accosting friends of the little girl giving them info they hadnt heard yet, should have been sacked years ago, the obnoxious pointless old dirty windbag

There are thousands of photos from the Blitz, from professional photographers, news teams and individuals.

Some of the MH370 relatives wanted to speak to the media, but they were being kept from doing so by the heavy-handed authorities.

I genuinely can't believe that he even for a second thought that that was appropriate conduct.

That luggage is now, in a way, a sacred artefact for the deceased's loved ones. To be pawing through it in the name of journalism (and the media have truly gone into voyeuristic overdrive this time around) is absolutely shameless behaviour.

I've found everything about MH17 so unutterably sad and this is no different. A desecration of the victims' final dignity.

This moment is where Sky should pull the operation and bring everyone home. It's appalling judgement and lack of respect. The presenter should also take time off until thisis settled down.

I would guess so and we need too also wonder how come the producers and cameraman not also say this is wrong or authorised it?
