I'm fed up hearing about "looming". I've never read Lungbarrow and probably never will. It's definitely not canon now.
I think we can also negate the idea that the Doctor was one of the founders of Time Lord society (I think the "Cartmel Masterplan" was leading in this direction)
Personally I hated the concept. If this negates it then good.
I always hated the concept as well so would be very happy for it to be officially debunked but as somebody said, they could loom a child rather than fully formed adult.
However the references to what we had view as standard parental relationships (the 10th Doctor explicitly stating he was a father once and the Master talking about his father's estate) would seem to indicate that families work in the old fashioned way.
Cherry picking what you like doesn't mean you are correct
Looming is canon now and so is Lungbarrow
How is it canon? I've never seen any confirmation from anybody on either production team that the New Adventure novels are considered canon and part of the official histoty and looming has never been referenced on screen.
I'm not being rude and apologize if I have missed some announcement confirming they are canon but if so i'd like to see a link to it.

p.s. @ComedyFish - What time is it for you right now - thats dedication!
Because Timelords are all infertile
I feel like I've wandered into the dark internet...
Yeah it was like 5am! Just couldn't sleep
After that I doubt you'll be able to...
Then how was the first Doctor a grandfather? Or did he have an obliging milkman on Gallifrey?
Presumably his children and grandchildren were loomed. Woven. Whatever.
Anyway, it's not canon.
Oh, no, I used the C-word! I'll have to go and shoot myself!
"You know why."
Questions - we still have them. Thankfully.

Lungbarrow is far more ambiguous than many give it credit for.
So how and why was he loomed half human?
The psychic curse that damaged everyone's biodata was lifted after the Doctor's return to House Lungbarrow, anyway.
Leela and Andred had the first natural child for eons.
Presumably, the looms were not used after that (perhaps for other purposes)
When did Lungbarrow/Looming become canon?

From what they said, he was in some kind of orphanage or childs' home or some kind
, if I heard right - so these were staff ?
