Can TiVo control the FVRT145?

Just a quick question regarding whether I could use the 145's tuner with TiVo. The tuners on these are reasonable and it would be good if I could use my old box as a mule now that TiVos are going to be community-supported. Two "dead" systems = one good whole :)

    If I remember correctly the problem with a Digifusion and a Tivo is that the Digifusion goes into standby overnight after the now non existent epg download.
    When I see the huge efforts needed to resurrect the Tivo epg, on a machine running Linux, I understand why the digifusion techies couldn't do the same with the Digifusion and its proprietry os
