Though he didn't expose the real reason; he said something which could have been read in more than one way.
He left it to Linda to own up.

So Jim was having a dig at her about her dead husband ... And then tried to backtrack like a pussy and say he never said it.
And this guy is the favourite to win

It's nonsense, what Dexter said, that the whole country is talking about this series.

Ah, but there's a lot more than that, which I think Linda and Jim should deal with between themselves.

Emma getting all high and mighty.

A man who is no longer with us, well neither is the £20.

That must be it! I didn't recognize her without her eyes crossed and the faint illusion of drool. :D

Jim was just having a dig at her about what her dead husband did (absolutely low).
And now his fans are desperately trying to link it to when she had him thrown out of a nightclub because he was drunk, when neither Jim nor Linder mentioned the nightclub tonight at all.
    Talk about desperate.
Just face it, Jim said something low and then like a coward tried to get out of saying it by denying he'd said it because he knew it was out of order what he'd said.
She was CONSTANTLY digging at him. He had every right to eventually try and expose the real reason for it, rather than allow nasty and unfounded speculations to occur. If she had said from the outset that it was a result of an argument Jim had had with her husband, it might have been left at that. The general nature of her issue with him was all that was required. No further details were required.

If there was no connection between her hatred and the theft, then she would have only been too happy to point it out, as it would have made Jim look bad.

Denise has a cheek to call anyone else an arsehole...and if they didn't get much alcohol then what's her excuse for the way she behaved in the house. No idea how/why she won.

Emma: "We haven't even touched on Lee and Casey"

Sane (for once) Audience Member: "They have had enough air-time already"

    Unheard Producer: "Security!"
