Henry and Redknapp working well together so far tonight for me, Redknapp does seem to be getting some good insights of Henry with the questions he's posing within their discussion.
That said I am not at all impressed that at the time of writing we are 22 minutes into the coverage and there have been very little mention of Liverpool apart from that in the opening montage and stats about the number of times they have reached the final. You would think it was only Chelsea playing tonight.
Australia v United Arab Emirates (AFC Asian Cup Semi Final)

For some reason, at the start of each half, as well as when a goal went in we had the quick 'jingle' you'd hear when a goal goes in in the simultaneous game that is shown on the other channel during the last group stage game during the AFCoN.
We also heard Tim misuse the world 'literally' by saying that having Australia score a third would 'literally kill them (the UAE) off' No, Tim. No it won't.
He has had an excellent season to date for Sky, I would say better than Tyler and for me I hope he gets the final.
He has stepped it up this season.
I remember the criticism used to be that he was always decent but never really outstanding but he's delivered some excellent commentaries this season and never seems to have a bad commentary.

I agree. Whilst I still feel Tyler is the best commentator out there, Hawthorne has performed exceptionally well this season. I hope he gets the Final, he deserves it.
Only Hawthorne, Leslie and Mann have done the Capital One Cup games this season, and usually the commentator for the Final has done at least 1 previous round. Rob deserves to be at Wembley on 1st March, hopefully with Smith, even Goodman, Hinchcliffe or Neville could be in the running (despite GNev not doing any rounds at all).
I would be surprised if Tyler gets the Final. More likely for him that weekend, Liverpool v Manchester City at Noon on the day of the Final.
Good person to follow, giving behind the scenes details of the AfCoN coverage. Also stated he is unsure of his future post ITV contract, not even sure he'll be back doing the darts for them. That's all he can say for now so I'm hoping something decent is in the pipeline for him. Channel 5 Football League sign him up for goodness sake.

In a way I am dreading a goal for Rochdale because Savage will probably damage my speakers!
And thanks to the brilliantly entertaining monsoon conditions for most of the second half, he must've forgot. I'll plop for it being 'Roderinho'

Not the best lineup. Only Thierry and presumably Rob Hawthorne make it any better.

Not impressed with Henry pretty poor, off switch only option with Redknapp.
Whats his twitter, interested in following him. Thanks

No I have to admit he is certainly not this ace pundit that basically Sky have billed him up to be.
He was very average last week when he was on and is certainly no better, at the moment, today.

On a more positive note, Hawthorne has been excellent again. He's having a superb season.
How many times has he called Steven Gerrard "Stevie"? would fit in well over on BT:D

Agreed, he's been great!
