RIP, I always admired his cutting wit. He was a lot smarter and funnier than he got credit for now I think about it.

Shocking news. I couldn't help but like him and his eccentricities.

Me too. He was one of a kind. Such sad news. :(

    Very sad to hear this.

Whether you loved him or hated him, he was an iconic housemate from a vintage year. One of the true Big Brother legends.

I actually heard a couple of drunk guys singing 'You Spin Me Round' at 6am this morning when my local Tesco opened, which is a really weird coincidence.

    Absolutely.

I hope BOTS do a little something for him in January.

So sad that he had such a short life.

Pete was the perfect bb housemate. Intelligence and a great wit. Two things sadly lacking in today's version of bb.

he was vile to Jodie but that was perfectly deserved :D
    It wasn't deserved at all.

I'm not a hypocrite, I'm not going to eulogise him now he's died. I'm sorry he's dead but I didn't like him in BB at all.

His behaviour at times was awful and the way he spoke to Traci Bingham for no reason whatsoever defied belief.

    I just can't believe this :(

I ADORED Pete. Seeing him always brought a smile to my face no matter how I'd been feeling. Not just his sarcasm and wit, but also his (apparent) total lack of concern for what anyone thought about him. There was something very uplifting about him, to me anyway.

RIP Pete - if that's what you want! I'd rather think of you stirring up some harmless mischief in the afterlife and continuing to slag off everyone's dress sense from above <3<3<3<3<3

He was on that celebs plastic surgery show recently on c5 I think. They showed him without make up and he looked terrible.

    RIP.

I met Pete Burns at the BB8 wrap party. He was absolutely charming to me, introduced me to his partner, and we talked for quite a long time. 'Talked' being awkward as I am dwarfish and he was ten feet tall (the shoes, my dear). He was intelligent and very funny. R.I.P

Loved Pete in BB. I wonder if someone is going to stuff him and put him in their living room now like he wanted. RIP :(

I remember when he verbally destroyed Traci Bingham in CBB 'for the hell of it'. I was so shocked but in hindsight he was kinda right. RIP.

It. Is really is sad news R.I.P. Pete

He is a legendary housemate, but also remember he was a massive part of the BOTS family also, he would appear most weeks, until they realised he never actually watched the show.

I would be shocked if BOTS didn't do anything in January,
