Whether you loved him or hated him, he was an iconic housemate from a vintage year. One of the true Big Brother legends.
I actually heard a couple of drunk guys singing 'You Spin Me Round' at 6am this morning when my local Tesco opened, which is a really weird coincidence.
I ADORED Pete. Seeing him always brought a smile to my face no matter how I'd been feeling. Not just his sarcasm and wit, but also his (apparent) total lack of concern for what anyone thought about him. There was something very uplifting about him, to me anyway.
RIP Pete - if that's what you want! I'd rather think of you stirring up some harmless mischief in the afterlife and continuing to slag off everyone's dress sense from above
I met Pete Burns at the BB8 wrap party. He was absolutely charming to me, introduced me to his partner, and we talked for quite a long time. 'Talked' being awkward as I am dwarfish and he was ten feet tall (the shoes, my dear). He was intelligent and very funny. R.I.P
He is a legendary housemate, but also remember he was a massive part of the BOTS family also, he would appear most weeks, until they realised he never actually watched the show.
I would be shocked if BOTS didn't do anything in January,

Me too. He was one of a kind. Such sad news.

Absolutely.
I hope BOTS do a little something for him in January.
Pete was the perfect bb housemate. Intelligence and a great wit. Two things sadly lacking in today's version of bb.
I'm not a hypocrite, I'm not going to eulogise him now he's died. I'm sorry he's dead but I didn't like him in BB at all.
His behaviour at times was awful and the way he spoke to Traci Bingham for no reason whatsoever defied belief.

He really was TV gold in that CBB. I loved watching and listening to him with his caustic tongue. RIP Pete
