  First check the obvious things like loose connections. If that doesn't help then you need to fit a new hard drive.

  Thanks Martin I checked all that, can the harddrive not be fixed ? and if I buy a new one what software do I need on the new one .

  It can probably be fixed but I doubt that it would be economic.

  There is no software on the hard drive of a 9300. When you fit the drive the box will notice the new drive the first time it is switched on and offer to format it
