Not sure about the red. It was a tight angle to score from and another defender was close.

Are United fans going to try and blame all of this on Clattenburg for the wrongly awarded pen at 3-1? Surely they will recognise that most of the blame has to lie with their defence?

Schlupp's had two chances now to lay it off but he's been selfish.

As a Liverpool fan, this is the perfect cure to yesterday's miserable match. Nothing quite like seeing your rivals put in an equally catastrophic performance.

Liverpool and United's match in December should be thrilling. Given the defence of both teams, it's likely to end about 10-10.

    I agree.

He could have squared two balls for tap-ins for team mates.

Considering said decision swung the entire game and changed the entire momentum I'd say there's good reason to point to the referee for today's result.

He has been at the ref all game, swearing in his face. He could have gone for that.

PMSL,,, Rooney's hair is a comb over now just like Bobby Charlton :D:D

Appalling decision by Clattenburg, but Leicester really have deserved the win, no stop pressure and Man Utd havent been able to deal with it at all. Brilliant game

He has been having a go at his team mates all game as well, he has been just as bad as them, they should tell him to do one

So ends a quite remarkable match.

The immediate focus will be the first penalty award and understandably so, it's the worst I've seen this season and you could make a case for it having turned the match because United were certainly looking steady at that point with their 3-1 lead.

Far more worrying for United fans, though, is how their defence - which looked brittle all match - just capitulated from that point and completely ruined the superb attacking start they made to both halves.

It just goes to show that you can sign all the attacking quality you're able to but they will not on their own make amends for defensive frailties on the basis of "we'll just score more than you".

    What a game!

Yes, the ref made a howler of a decision for the 1st leicester penalty - but it only made it 2-3. Leicester then went on to score three more without reply!

Hopefully the next game lives up to the drama of the first.

How many points did Moyes after his first five games?

Clattenburg's very poor decision for the first penalty certainly changed the game.

I suspect it might have finished 3-1 otherwise. Mightily glad it didn't, was hugely entertaining from a neutral's point-of-view.
