Make owning a Doctor Who DVD a criminal offence
I think people might legitimately complain of yet another episode where most of the time is spent stood around chatting on a pokey set.
Or you could say some people might legitimately praise yet another episode that pushes the boundaries of what Doctor Who can do and provides an exciting hour of television.
Hmm, I don't know... I'm struggling to accept this thread as being "official" due to the lack of a capital B in the episode title. Nope, gonna have to go with the first official thread! Capitalization just looks so much more... I don't know... official?
And yeah, having seen this play out now for most of this series, I do think it's become a bit of a joke. Pick someone who is willing and able to do the thread and the poll every week, the poll with a standard set of five options, and let them take care of it. Shouldn't be this much of an issue.

This was my reasoning.
I must say the episode threads this year have been hilarious! Have any been correct? i.e. poll set with the traditional number of options, traditionally named? poll put up on time? Thread title correctly set, proper links put in? Thread starter looking after it rather than neglecting? Absence of bickering?
I really don't care how early in the week the thread is created - it is the responsibility of people creating threads to check to see whether a similar thread already exists. That's just regular forum etiquette, isn't it (and not limited to episode poll threads)? (Of course the fact the search facility appears to be borked doesn't help, but a quick scan of page 1 and 2 should do it (and would have done it this time).
Anyhoo - I'm rather enjoying it. It's as though it's mirroring the series - we've built up over 12 weeks to a big cocked-up-episode-thread Double Poll Finale! I'm hoping the OPs have saved up their best CGI for these! Maybe a big name surprise A-list casting announcement.

Can someone just merge them together to make a Hybrid?

I like a balanced poll, me!
It's about time we had a proper, unbiased poll like this so everyone can see how much the general audience agrees with me when I say Doctor Who has become a travesty!
Looks like the "Contact Form" link for contacting the Mods is borked as well. All I get is error 404, a picture of Obi Wan in the landspeeder at Mos Eisley from Star Wars with the caption "This isn't the page you're looking for" and other amusing screens if you retry.
It's been the same way for at least a couple of days.
I suppose they're sat their enjoying not having any forum user problems to deal with!
Me and DoctorBlueBox can just sit back and laugh heartily at moments like this. We did try and our efforts were met with disinterest or derision from the 'I do what I want' Forum Badasses.. And now look! An embarrassing shambles.
Indeed, it's hilarious, and now I'm 'doing what I want' in treating this later started thread as the official one because it was started at a reasonable time. I'll laugh my head off if this one gets pinned as the official thread, and the earlier started one fades into obscurity. Might make the competitive early thread starters learn a lesson.

I don't know. If were being like that, this thread has the correct '05' on the date, whereas the other thread just has '5'. Way more official.
Well, it's good to see the only Official thread with Hell Bent appropriately capitalised has also got its thread starter actively participating in it. Well done.

I think some people might complain whatever happened in the episode eh Kapellmeister?

Very good.
(Yes, I think a merge would be for the best!)
Splendidly fitting! Can someone make this happen?

Fantastic! (It's a Twin Dilemma)

7 options are much better!
and interestingly no comment from either of the 2 OPs yet.
this is exciting eh.

The (cloister) bells are ringing.
I thought so too. Must mean ultimate danger. intriguing.
Damn, you're right! Now I'm just thinking that neither thread is quite official enough!
Anyone up for starting another? With extra added officialness!
nah 7 options is too much if you ask me, 5 I think is the ideal number.
How did you manage to contact them? Whenever I've tried to use the contact form recently I get an "amusing" error 404 (page not found) page?
