 Tight? You couldn't even get a finger in that waistband! Surely you wouldn't like to dance that with Pasha, what with him falling on you from a great height, shoving you away with his groin, leaping over your head, gazing up adoringly at you, etc.

Yes, you were right about my non-soporific dances - it's definitely a long waltz tonight, on and on and on until, I hope,

Well taking it off would be so much more fun though.... don't you think so??.... specially after the sequences you have mentioned are rehearsed a few times (BTW those are 00.43, 00.53,1.24, 1.34... mmmmm...ooo...laaaa )...:eek::o:o

Sorry I have been a very naughty girl and going back to the depths of the gutter... :o:o:o (BTW... I LOVE my gutter.. :D *grin of a shameless hussy*)

Was just rememebering Ali and Brian's salsa on the other thread...she was hot hot hot in it... :D... But that reminded me of the even hotter Pasha Melinda salsa... :p... My gorgeous Pasha rocking white in that tight trousers...mmmm ....ooo..:o:o

Holy moly.:o That was one hot number.
Tight, white trousers showed off Pasha's behookie to perfection.:o
Oh to be Melinda in that salsa.
Thanks Pashulty, though your Pasha? Have you forgotten the queue?;)

Well, I see that you are anxious to know how my Rumba Night went, so I'll fill you in:-

    It was .:o...:o...:o

So, I think I'll have to try a more smoochy dance tonight; the rumba was far too stimulating! Yes, a nice, slow, dreamy waltz is more conducive to a half-decent night's rest. There'll be no chance then of becoming tangled up in massive sheets, flappy curtains, billowing open shirt, tattered nightie - you know, all that white material blowing in the wind on Pashulty's rumba thingy last night.

Sorry to have used up all the emoticons!!! Just don't quote me!!! *Cheesy but extremely tired grin*

See you survived all antics then Korky.:p

I secretly think she would, yes. (Good job she's not listening.) Dancing is an art form but also there's the earthy side: close body contact, hand-holding, eye contact, trust issues in lifts, man leading woman (usually), locking arms and legs and so on. Sometimes it's intimate and sometimes it's flamboyant, and I know which I prefer! ;):o:D

Both are lovely but I've loved Leonard Cohen for many, many years and I adored the beautiful imagery in the first and so.....well, sometimes everything chimes, doesn't it. :)

    Aurora 2-5 July

We (Julie,Laura, Luci) arrived in Cadiz at 21.30 on 1 July after a 20 min drive from Jerez Airport….I had booked a hotel in the old part overlooking the sea and very close to the port….we wandered through the narrow cobbled streets which opened onto small squares and found an amazing family run Tapas restaurant here we stayed until 3am…I knew K &P would be in Cadiz and I kept expecting them to dance past doing the Paso Doble…it would have been a perfect setting.
Woke up at 9.30 on 2 July after a Sangria induced sleep, Julie and Laura were at the door sounding very excited and when I looked out the window there was this HUGE ship.

At 10:30 and lots of coffee later we walked towards the Aurora, most passengers were disembarking as they had been at sea for 3 days, in the distance they had a small canopy set up by a separate entrance for new arrivals, we were guided in that direction the guy showed me a piece of paper with about 7 names, the first name I saw was Kovalev Pavel cabin xxxxx lol…..just then a lady appeared (Kim bbc producer) announced she was from the bbc and she and the others were here…eek…we boarded the ship and went to reception where they took our passports knowing that K & P were only 5 mins behind us, we went to my cabin first to drop off bags, Julie and Laura handed me the chocolates that they had been carrying for me and gave them to me, our cabins were on the same deck as reception , so when 5 mins later we went to find Julie and Laura’s cabin we passed through reception and there they were…all I heard was hey Susie from K & P, bbc lady looking slightly bemused..wow Katya looks amazingly beautiful and about 20 with no make up, P was looking cool and chic in tailored shorts and shades, I was still holding the bag of chocolates in my hand as I was taking them to J & L’s cabin, so gave them to a happy P, I then said we had a Cathedral to visit and left, P said ooh it was beautiful…loved Cadiz Cathedral just beautiful…had a fab lunch in Cathedral Square prior to boarding the boat a 2.30.
We then spent a wonderful afternoon sunbathing on the top deck, we set sail from Cadiz at 4pm, whilst looking through the itinerary for the day I saw there were the 2 finals that night of the passengers SCD comp, we went to the second sitting of dinner and saw the second final of the dance comp, my heart was stolen by a couple who had been dancing together for 61 years ( aged86 & 84) P went on stage http://www.flickr.com/photos/92849131@N07/9315105961/ … comp was won by a couple in their 30’s doing a Paso Doble, they were about the youngest couple on the cruise average age 75ish …

After that we decided to go for drinks at the bar on the top deck near the bridge with a panoramic view…we walked in and saw P etc , we sat by the window and the guy singing started to sing Sway…just then K walked/danced in, apparently it was Kim’s birthday, after they all left we stayed for another hour before making our way to nightclub 6 decks down….just as we were walking to nightclub P was walking on his own towards us…had kiss and hug and chat, he said book was coming out on 13 or/30 August…..he was so lovely and charming and we said goodnight…We then went to the nightclub and danced until 3am…only 2 other passengers there who were there in their 20’s…other than the 12 bar staff and entertainment managers….walking back to the cabin we walked past many of the SCD costumes from last year including http://www.flickr.com/photos/92849131@N07/9250450604/

At 10:30 next day we went to the Q&A and M&G of CRH he was absolutely hilarious and came out on stage in a double bed http://www.flickr.com/photos/92849131@N07/9315181023/

Got back to cabin to discover that as there were 1800 pax on ship and theatre only seats 600, there were going to be 3 K&P shows, 2 that day at 8.30 and 10.30 and 1 on 4 July at 3…and we had tickets for the next day at 3…well there was NO WAY that we were not going to see them dance that night….fortunately the gorgeous K saw us in queue for 8.30 show…had a word…and magically we got seats on 2 row…sooo happy…this was the BEST I have seen them dance…they were relaxed, vibrant.cheeky and danced as one .utter perfection…bonus that the stage was very low so had fab view….the even more exciting thought was we actually had tickets for the show the following day…back to nightclub and danced until 3am, also hitting the dance floor was the hilarious CRH…so much fun…HE CAN DANCE!

The next morning we had the Q&A and M&G with P&K at 11.15…..to guarantee front row seats we got to the theatre at 10;30…but had to listen to a very boooring lecture about canals lol….this was the bit we were allowed to film but for some reason I am unable to upload my 7 min clip, have managed this so far http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppi8k_KZYjU K&P have such a lovely relationship based on mutual respect and trust which is so important for their dance partnership, K calls P her dance husband, it was actually K’s Danish wedding anniversary that day, they will have to decide if they are going to tour again by September……fingers crossed

Had photos taken with K&P and with P only in dance pose http://www.flickr.com/photos/92849131@N07/9315369325/

Great joy as we saw them dance again at 3pm…wow twice within 24hrs……
Without going into too much detail as this was their private time too, my surreal moments were sitting next to P playing blackjack…as if my May calandar pic had come to life, treated to another dance show by P&K in the nightclub, dancing with P, and Laura being spun around by P like an exhibition dancer….oh yes P is also very good at twerking…popular dance bought into fashion by Miley Cyrus…
Katya is wonderful and Pasha is indeed a beautiful dancer man and human being…..I have everything crossed that I get to see him dance live again, but if not feeling truly blessed and privileged that I have seen him dance live this year….very proud and happy Pasha fan Sx
