The Voice UK Live Show 2/ Results Discussion Thread [5th/6th May]

The 1st Live Show has been and gone and Sam and Sophie were given the boot!

The 2nd Live Shows are upon us where Team Danny and Team Jessie sing for the 1st time and for your votes...

Tomorrow night (6th May) we will see which 2 acts are eliminated... if spoilers are floating about RE who is eliminated then please try to keep it out of this thread + use the spoiler thread (which I'm sure will be created by some kind soul post show)

Tonight's song choices are:

Team Danny

Max Milner – Free Fallin’ (Tom Petty)
Bo Bruce – Running Up That Hill (Kate Bush)
Hannah Berney – Cry Me A River (Julie London / Justin Timberlake)
Aleks Josh – Dream A Little Dream Of Me (Michael Bublé)
David Julien – Sweet Disposition (The Temper Trap)

Team Jessie

Ruth Ann St Luce – Promise This (Cheryl Cole)
Becky Hill – Good Luck (Basement Jaxx)
Cassius Henry – Paradise (Coldplay)
Toni Warne – Proud Mary (Tina Turner)
Vince Kidd – Always On My Mind (Elvis Presley)

Saturdays Show kicks off at 7.10 PM

Sundays Results Show kicks off at 7.15PM

So what are you hoping to see/ who do you want eliminated???

The bloomin' FA Cup Final is a 5.15 kick off on ITV. Bit late, isn't it? Overlaps with the first half hour of The Voice, and that's assuming no extra time.

If no ET, then the match will be over by 7pm. Hopefully there will be time for me to watch Liverpool lift the cup

before I switch over to The Voice.

I'm looking forward to this show much more than last weeks. Team Danny looks like a really good line-up with the song choices and I'll be interested to see how Team Jessie tackle some of their's (Vince comes to mind).

Hopefully, the FA Cup won't overlap. Still don't understand why it's today and at the time it is though. :rolleyes:

Looking forward to Becky (for the unusual but amazing song choice) and David/Bo for singing two of my all time favourite songs, same with Max... looking forward to seeing how Vince performs as well, his renditions are usually good.

I think this week is going to be much better than last week.

I just hope David can sing a song at a high vocal range and not trash one of the most beautiful songs ever :eek: But I'm sure he will be fine

Let's hope this is a massive improvement on last weeks show as that was bland beyond description.

There was a much higher level of poor vocal tuning than any other show i've seen with wannabee pop stars/singers.

Perhaps it was a broadcast thing. If you're in the live show audience let us know whats its iike

Chelsea 2-0 up over the scousers, so you're alright.
