Problem with Yahoo Mail

When I open my email "inbox" my emails are showing from the earliest messages (more than a year ago) and my newest arrivals are on the last page. This is a recent thing and I can't see any fix to it on the Help pages.

Anyone else had this problem or can suggest a fix?

Clicking on the date heading will switch between oldest at the top and youngest, you possibly hit it accidentally.

Thank you very much Tidosho. I didn't realise the little purple square was the date heading. All sorted now.
