Doesn't Newman have a team of story liners responsible for coming up with quality s/l's? How much is her input on the storyline ideas?

I tend to read the news on the red button when it's on these days.

She will have very little input in the actual stories.

However, it is her job to ensure the members of the story team are performing well and creating good material.

The awful Katie Douglas who was storyline writer is no longer listed on the credits, giving credence to the rumours a few months ago that she has left/been sacked.

I think her major crime was Sharon. The character is still suffering the consequences now.

She won't input much herself, but she can have things changed, decline crap ideas.

Shes the captain of the ship. She decides on the ships direction.

The ship seems dead in the water nowadays.
