Don't like the song at all.
I hate this style of track anyway with the whole 60's American Motown vibe - it just does not work.
I honestly think these girls got lucky with Black Heart and they've been riding the success of that until now.
I also really struggle to like them too. I don't dislike them, but they're a bit difficult to champion.
I don't think this is their saviour song after the career suicide that was Waterfalls.
I like Stooshe, although I'm a bit bored of girl groups trying to sound "retro" and "classic" all the time. If it's not Sugababes and Girls Aloud then it's Little Mix and Stooshe.

Little Mix are ripping off a Curiosity Killed the Cat rip-off of a De La Soul song.
That said, Stooshe and to a lesser extent Little Mix have released more satisfying singles than the Saturdays recently.

I'm not going to lie - I am very very surprised...but in a good way! The only promo I've seen them do is 'Sweat the Small Stuff' and a Radio 1 interview yesterday. And apart from that I haven't seen the video anywhere on TV or heard the song on the radio at all. But good for them! Hopefully this will give them the hit they need!

They have decent voices/quirky personalities, two are bi/homo-sexual, catchy songs, the rude version of <insert> me is funny.

They aren't "ripping off" the two songs you said.
They are sampling a part of it. The rest of the song is original.
On the subject of Slip. Its a pretty good song. IMO their best one.

I think they're guaranteed a top 10 with this, possibly top five.
It would be an achievement, I was hoping they'd get 1 but it's looking likely that Demi will hit that #1 spot. I'm hoping they get top 3 though
