Icing sugar everywhere

I do a reasonable amount of baking and have ben doing a lot of experimenting with decoration recently. All is going well - except my icing sugar seems to have a desire to coat the entire kitchen whenever I open the box! I swear it never used to do this when I was younger - is there anyway of avoiding this cause there's just a constant cloud of sugar!

    Have you tried layig a tea towel over the box while opening it. Its is very messy stuff, I pour mine in a glass jar for storage but as soon as I start pouring it the cloud goes everywhere. May follow my own advice & put a tea towel over it:D
