Who remembers Monkey Magic?

If you grew up in the 1980's do you remember monkey magic the chinese budhist story of a pilgrimage.
I used to love it then do kids kung fu with mates.
Pigsy and sandy.
I wish they'd show it again.

    Many happy memories of watching Monkey Magic & The Water Margin. It's a pity that the BBC don't show them again. I can still do a pretty good Pigsy impression.

    Monkey, not Monkey Magic. Monkey Magic might have been the words to the song, but it wasn't the title of the TV programme.

    Wasn't this repeat a few years ago on some TV channel*

    *I'm at that age now where 'a few' = 3-10, and some tv channel = one of those there satellite ones!

    I'd guess most of us thirtysomething/forty year olds used to watch this. Happy memories. What's not to like about a magical man monkey who can ride on a cloud.
