I got my first real six string.
Seriously, too numerous to place in a Top 10.
Birth of two children.
First grandchild last May.
Second in January.
My wife and I have travelled extensively together in the last 15 years.
But, as I get older, littler things start meaning much more.
Today I had lunch with my wife, my son and daughter and their OH's and my granddaughter.
It was my sons birthday and it was lovely.
I paid, of course
Aww that's so nice
Getting into University (previously I dropped out of education)
However I am sure there are many best days that I have not had yet.
And read the rest.
They're all special.
Indeed, they are marvellous
It was
Great ending, i'm glad it went well.:) How old is he now?
You have some lovely memories:)
Ah, yes, me too. Didn't realise how bad I had it until I got my own place. :kitty:
And obviously the birth of my son and birth of my daughter two years after (she was a suprise)
The night I had him I was only in labour for just over an hour, start to finish and it wasn't as bad as I'd expected.
Also my A Level results - I got an A in my subject (when As were not common) and a distinction at S Level. Not bad for a kid who went to the worst comp in my county. And got into my first choice uni which was a redbrick. Only 5 of us in my year - a 7 form entry school - got into uni at all.
Probably also the day I was first published in a magazine although tbh I don't recall it, now. I can remember going into Smiths and seeing things I'd done on the shelf and thinking "I wrote that!" It becomes like anything else you could do, after a while, but that first time it feels like an achievement.
