    Fish n chips,mushy peas, chip shop curry sauce and some bread and butter.

    I've never understood the curry sauce with fish n chips, my oh always has it
    I'd rather have some tommy sauce!

    Went out for lunch, so a picky tea here:)

    also cooking lasagne down my sisters for their tea, as they are the the local carnival on the field, so i offer to help with their tea..lol

    Beef stroganoff with rice later

    Courgettes stuffed with chicken mince, pine nuts and cream cheese. Topped with feta, parmesan and breadcrumbs. Served with brown basmati rice.

    Angel Delight for pudding 😁

    That sounds a good idea for courgettes, do you use the inside of the courgette mixed in with the mince?

    Aww angel delight, haven't had that for years,used to like strawberry one with squirty cream!

    Its a recipe by Dean Edwards (he was a contestant on Masterchef a few years ago and appears on This Morning).

    The recipe is from his book, Mincespiration (awful title but great recipes!)

    Yes, the flesh is scooped out and diced then cooked with chicken mince, onion, garlic and a bit of butter. Add cream cheese and pine nuts and fill the courgette halves (which have been roasting in the oven whilst the mixture is made).

    Top the whole lot with feta, parmesan and breadcrumbs and after another 15 minutes in the oven you're done.

    And as for the Angel Delight, were having Butterscotch....with a smashed up Crunchie mixed in with it

    I recommend his book Mincespiration, we've made most of the recipes from it and every one has been top notch

    Think he's either just released or just about to release his second book
