"I went to the store to buy a candle holder. They were out, so I bought a cake."
Sorry, I didn't see him so far (or remember)
Wow....if he didn't make the top 100 that's a complete insult. Mitch Hedberg was a funny guy....he was a proper comedian. He wasn't superficial like morons like Peter Kay. Kay shouldn't be ranked in the top 100 by proxy of the fact he never does stand up?.1 every 7 years then re-releases the same material on DVD every year. Rip off merchant and a fat money grubbing waster.
Mitch was awesome:
"I bought myself a parrot. The parrot talked. But it did not say, "I'm hungry,"... so it died. "

I'm pretty sure he would have been on the list- I was probably just distracted laughing at him
"I went to a store that said they specialized in hard to find records and tapes. Nothing was alphabetized!"
I don't think Mitch Hedberg was on the list was he? I don't remember seeing him anyway. Pity.
Michael McIntyre's going to be really high isn't he...
That said this is voted by a British audience and Mitch was never really big over here....I mean, he wasn't mammoth in the U.S.A, so he was barely heard of here in Britain. I think him not being on the list is more testament to the fact he's just not as well heard of, rather than the fact he's not one of the 100 best comedians of all time.

My top five would probably be something like:
Stewart Lee
Bill Hicks
Dylan Moran
Bill Bailey
Richard Herring
My wife hates him but I think he is one of the funniest men alive
"Slow Children"
Plus he can tell his mum Tom O'Connor didn't even make the list.
I wonder if this is due to his BBC 2 show.
Steven Wright.
Comes in at 12th. New title for his show now
Well worth going to see live, well recommend him

I hope he was...but he was ranked pretty low last time.

It looks like Ricky Gervais is going to be in the top 10 which is way too high as his TV shows are genius but his standup isn't that great.
