First Round proper draw

On Sunday, teams from Football League One and Two will join The FA Cup when the draw for the First Round proper takes place at The FA's HQ at Wembley Stadium.
And two well known fans from teams hoping to have a good run in The Cup will be pulling the balls from the pot - Norman 'Fat Boy Slim' Cook, a Brighton & Hove Albion supporter, and Soccer AM's Helen Chamberlain, who follows Torquay United.
You can watch the draw live with us here on FATV or on ITV1 at lunchtime on Sunday afternoon.
The draw will follow hot on the heels of this weekend's Fourth Round Qualifying action where 32 ties will take place with the winners joining 48 Football League clubs, including the likes of Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic, in the first stage of the competition proper on the weekend of 6 and 7 November.

What is the current state of play with the TV rights for the FA Cup? I know that ITV and ESPN will both show the final live, will have one live semi final each and two quarter finals each. What about Rounds 1 and 2, and then Rounds 3 - 5? Are they sharing coverage or will it be on the FA website again?
I wonder if many pubs still have ESPN. I haven't got ESPN, and if my team (Huddersfield) are away from home on ESPN I'd have to find somewhere to watch it (don't even know anyone who has it, so couldn't even ask someone to record it for me onto DVD). Unfortunately for me it's a double edged sword when it comes to FA Cup coverage, in that I haven't got ESPN, but I most certainly don't rate ITV's football coverage highly either.

If said pubs are bona fide Sky subscribers (this is indicated by the "pint glass symbol" in the bottom right hand cornerif watching Sky Sports in a pub), then they would definately have ESPN.
MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon would be a ITV's dream. Also look out for FC United of Manchester on TV if they get through.
Indeed (on both counts), but I wonder if Sheffield FC - assuming that the club still in the Cup is the oldest club in the world - will feature if they get a home draw against a League team. Just imagine them playing Sheffield Wednesday, or Poole Town playing Bournemouth! All depends what happens today, of course (with Weymouth gone, I'm hoping for my childhood locals, Dartford & Ebbsfleet, to get through).
LOL post licence fee settlement it wont be in the next 6 years
There's nothing to stop uktv especaly Dave taking some games. They have had some live sport previously. as it is on most platforms and they can have ads it may be more profitable especaly if the bbc use their own production people.
No it isn't. They bizzarely thought it was a good idea to return to staging the next round draw on a Monday lunchtime because it was 'traditional'.
What's bizarre about it? Part of the excitement of the FA Cup after your team had got through was everyone gathering round the radio at 12.30 on Monday lunchtime to find out who you were playing next. Of course, that was before saturation tv coverage-none of this rubbish of the draw being made at odd times on a Sunday afternoon before all the matches had even been played.

Sunday lunchtime I presume. Thanks

Round 2: ITV 1 match, ESPN 2 matches.
Round 3: ITV 2 matches, ESPN 3 matches.
Round 4: ITV 2 matches, ESPN 3 matches.
Round 5: ITV 2 matches, ESPN 3 matches.
Round 6: ITV 2 matches, ESPN 2 matches.
Round 7: ITV 1 match, ESPN 1 match.
Round 8: Simulcast on ITV and ESPN.
Pick order: complicated but ITV also 'go' first.
Additional games up to and including ties in round 5 might be broadcast on FATV (i.e. the FA website).
Replays (if applicable) are shared between ITV, ESPN and FATV through rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (no semi replays or final replay).
If said pubs are bona fide Sky subscribers (this is indicated by the "pint glass symbol" in the bottom right hand cornerif watching Sky Sports in a pub), then they would definately have ESPN.
Maybe ESPN will go for somebody like MK Dons or Bristol Rovers as it's mostly smaller teams in the early rounds?
They need a half decent fixture to pull in customers.

About the same as any other two teams being drawn against each other, I would think. Being a random draw and all that.
ALL the replays are to be played next Tuesday night:p:p

It's a wonder they didn't show the games in black and white...
Well it would be my nightmare and I sincerely hope it doesn't happen
Apart from the ones on Monday and Wednesday that is
