They were so big after X Factor, but they seem to have disappeared off the face of the universe in the past couple of years. I don't recall seeing them since the time they appeared in that Popeye guy's performance on BGT for no reason

Isn't that a good thing.
They are still reasonably popular in Europe and have saved and invested their money with Louis Walsh's guidance. I think the height of their infamy is over but they've made good money and are probably sorted for life. At the very least, they can probably afford very good educations and have the money to invest in their futures.
Queue the Usual suspects to tell you how 'well respected' and 'hard working' they are..
YAWN
Amongst other things, They have had three TV series, a reality show for ITV2 and two Childrens tv shows, one for irish channel RTE (Jedwards Dream Factory) and one for CBBC (Jedwards Big Adventrure).
They represented Ireland twice at Eurovision in 2011 and 2012.
They have released three albums, two double platinum one gold.
They ran with the Olympic torch, met Barak Obama and have been ambassadors for the ISPCC for many years.
They have appeard in celebrity Big Brother.
They have toured Europe and Australia and appeared/performed on australian and Candian TV many times. ( they performed a live impromptu jam session with Ed Sheeran on Canadian TV).
They are now writing and producing their own music. And making their own music videos.
They recently released two music videos, of self written/produced songs, through their own PlanetJedward label, both topped the iTunes Charts worldwide.
They are releasing a third self penned song, Make Your Own Luck, in January.
You can next see them on the new ITV show, Get Your Act Together.,
They haven't been associated with Louis Walsh for over two years.

Well they are? I've just come back from Ireland where they've had three "VIP intimate afternoon concerts", plus a Christmas Variety Show. The variety show featured "Irish queen of country" Philomena Begley, and her son Aidan Quinn, both of whom spoke very highly of John and Edward.
They've been doing a lot since the OP last looked...oh make sure you watch out for them on "Pointless Celebrities" (yawn yawn the joke's been done...) in the New Year, I've heard it's a very good episode
They probably never have to work a 9 to 5 in their life ever again thanks to the last 4 years. They are worth 6 million, 3 million each, so some wise investments and management will probably see them set in relative comfort for the rest of their lives. Frankly if acting slightly immature and singing songs to be a millionaire is worthy of scorn, I think some people might fail to realise they are in the entertainment business: it's an act like everything on stage is.
They headlined the best selling panto in irish history for four years, people travelled from all over the world to see them. Often seeing many shows.
This year they decided against it as it takes too much time and they are concentrating on their music.
They did however, co-host a big Irish Christmas TV show and debuted their new single Make Your Own Luck, at the big Irish charity concert, Childline, a few weeks ago.
They also held some special, intimate, VIP concerts for fans in Ireland, which were very sucussful and tremendous fun. Again fans travelled from many different countries to be there.
Five years on from XF they are still pulling a huge international audience, selling out venues and fronting TV shows.
Good. Hopefully they have amassed enough to buy a remote island and live there forever.
If you'd read the rest of the tread you'd see they may have amassed a fortune, but they're still going strong, with a new single out in the new year, and several TV shows already recorded
They will probably be doing a UK tour too
It's been down for ages!

As a mum of 2 I was aware of their CBeebies shows but those shots are really good!
I'm not sure where this info has come from, though I could take a guess. But you are wrong.
Ferocious, their second self penned single, was their highest charting single since Bad Behaviour in 2011, it charted 15 in the Irish charts.
It wasn't promoted elsewhere.
They sold out Dublin's Olympia Theatre last October

Their first self penned single Free Spirit was recently voted the track of 2014.
They are independent and therefore don't have the advertising budget of some, but they're happy with the sales they've achieved. Their next single is due for release in January.
They are loking amazing now
Given that they didn't fail (Ferocious debuted at number 20 and rose to number 15 in the Irish charts) and Free Spirit debuted at number 34 (I think? ) that's hardly nail in the coffin stuff. Ferocious debuted higher than the next two highest debuts that week, which were by Taylor Swift and U2...so...
It must also be said that Ferocious was their highest charting single in Ireland since Bad Behaviour in 2011, so again, hardly a nail in the coffin.
The album's release hasn't been shelved, they've taken a different approach, and are releasing singles first before the entire album, which makes good sense financially.
Where did you get your info from?
