  episode 1, started sun at 8pm , repeated tonight at 9pm, on iplayer if u missed it

  Maybe he meant the world cup final for England, and he knew they'd get destroyed by Germany.

  It was before the world cup started.
  
  He said they had a lot of shot footage where they'd made mistakes.
  
  When he found out it was bbc's smart idea to have the series premier on world cup final day he said "they could put out all the shit footage as no one would be watching".
