Tarnished Gold

I have a gold link chain I lost for several years. When it was found it was very tarnished. I've seen silver cleaning products in the shops but not gold. Does anybody know how to clean tarnished gold? Is there a product that I can buy or is there an easy way to make my own cleaner?
