iTunes Store won't load

I recived some iTunes vouchers yesterday and I went to spend them but unfortunately the iTunes Store will not open I have no idea why ? . I am on an iPad btw . I assumed at first it was because everyone was spending their vouchers etc as it was Xmas day but I just tried to get on again and it wouldn't have it . The other weird thing is the App Store is working fine. :confused:

    You can redeem your voucher in the app store and still spend the credit on music. Doesn't help if you can't open iTunes. Try double tapping the home button and swiping away the iTunes store so you load from scratch next time...
