And tezza of course Brendan will forget about ste and his feelings once he has Walker and Joel to interact with, cause Hollyoaks Is that simple, they don't have the ability to show complexity anymore.
But they're forgetting that our Brendan isn't as bloody simple minded as they seem to be.
I know that he was terrible and that is probably why it never took off in any way shape or form but you do have to wonder if it was also in part that he was an openly gay lech sorry gay man, no angsting, no puppy eyes or eye sexing.

It seems to be true that no one like a happy gay.
I think his bad acting sunk it all before it began.
I don't think the fact that he wasn't overly attractive helped either.

Ooh interesting! But if you think about McDean, people seemed to really like JP and Spike together (not me mind) and he was openly gay. I think Noah was just a terrible unlike-able character
The Sunita/Carl storyline makes meh ill. Cannot cope with Harlot!Sunita and all her whispering
Ugh, they make meh sick.
Can't wait for them to get caught, I want them to regret it and for their lives to turn to crap, they're both being so selfish and don't even seem to care.
thinking about hollyoaks and its unrealistic attitude after what they've done with doug I expect ste will really sell himself to brendan because he loves doug so much.

People are shallow as much as anything.
His bad acting on top of such a dislikable character.
But thing is, he didn't seem like a "happy gay" either. He was a miserable, desperate, clingy guy. He was hitting on Ste before he even knew if Ste was gay or not.
Every little action of his, from his annoying bitchiness, so his selfishness I think was what killed him.
Can't wait for them to get caught, I want them to regret it and for their lies to turn to crap, they're both being so selfish and don't even seem to care.
Did i totally imagine Sophie catching them kissing the other night? Cause now Carl has managed to convince her that Sunita is just helping him with her gambling problems

She did definitely catch them. But I haven't seen today's episodes, I think Sophie will just know he's lying to her but keep the truth to herself for now.
Yeah LMan, she did various mag interviews where she said that she was really self-conscious in the tight trousers and the sexy scenes, and you can really tell. She doesn't look very comfortable doing it at all.

With all the dramatic build up and amazing chemistry?
I don't see why.
I was going to make a horrible comparison but I shan't.

I don't get it.
Yay.
I loved him.

It just makes me think of Kat and Alfie's dead baby in EE.
Which isn't the cheeriest of thoughts but hey-ho.
Oooh what kind of "something"?
Ooh.
Nothing major, you'll see though

Haaaaaaaaaa!
I wish they'd stop referring to Sunita's ginnel.

Ok
*waits anxiously*

And as LMan said, people are shallow as well...
And she can't do sexy.
Did i totally imagine Sophie catching them kissing the other night? Cause now Carl has managed to convince her that Sunita is just helping him with her gambling problems
Nope she can't.
The actress is really uncomfortable with the scenes, too, apparently, and it shows.
He was hitting on him days after Rae miscarried.
Oh you mentioned Doug likes a crank and then someone mentioned Tommy. Never mind
Yeah, and the way she acts desperate sometimes makes me embarrassed for her. It's not nice to watch.

And Ste was using him to make Brendan jealous days after Rae miscarried
