Hi Sue......In Ireland we never had to pay rates on houses (bussiness, yes) or pay for water or septic tanks. Now the country is on its knees the gov want us to pay for everthing . People are worried that the household tax will increase quite a lot next year (at present only 100 euros)maybe as high as 1,000.00 euros. This charge is for homeowners only, if you live in social housing, or live on a "ghost estate" you don't pay. :mad:

Oh I still don't swear in front of my parents It always amazed me; two brothers both over 6'2 and my Mum at 5'4, she can still command the utmost respect and good behaviour, my brothers never defied her! Wish I had that effect on Laura lol

During BB12 I'd be posting on MF late at night/early morning (2am) when it's quieter and you get to read the thread and figure out what you really want to say, I'd see her around doing the same thing

My grandaughter lives in Portalaise (cant spell it)
with her lovely Irish boyfriend.
They are getting married next year.
She and said boyfriend came yesterday
and it was lovely to see her looking sooo happy.
My other grandaughter (the converted John and Josie fan)
came last night and is still here.
We have been having a vid fest and i must admit i am getting
to know every thing they said or did by heart.
did not sleep so well last night but at least it was5-30am instead of 4-30 am or earlier.
ps. i dont like crude humour either.
