I'm needing some advice/suggestions on the cheapest hotels in Liverpool for a Friday and Saturday night for 4?
We've looked on Travelodge and they seem to be very expensive to what I've paid in the past.I know it's going to be more as it's for a weekend but we just want to find the cheapest hotel available that is central. Thank you.

Would you be prepared to share toilets/shower rooms? I know of a couple of cheap places but they really are basic, as in not even a real wardrobe

I've known people stay in hotel formula 1 (not sure how that's spelt) which is right on the Albert docks and just across the road from Liverpool one.

Hampton by Hilton are good value and very central.Get booked up very quickly at weekends though.
