He did, but technically he's not Alfie's so no trend was broken.

Good point, though Alfie does consider him a son and was determined to name him Alfred. I can't find anything more about the names, but I still hold out hope that we don't end up with Bert and Ernie running around!

I dare someone to tweet DTC and ask him if he likes Sesame Street.

    Go on then!

Tweet him and ask him, also ask him WTF he thinks he's doing not giving them a girl so they can name her after Nana!

They look it. Fair play, the Moons have lovely kids.

The Moon gene pool is a strange one. You either get the cheeky-chappy good-guy types like Alfie, Tyler and Anthony, or the darker or psychotic types like Michael and and Danny. There really aren't that many in-betweens! :D

Probably. I'm sure DTC and co. just couldn't wait to get home for the weekend and just went with the first idea someone pitched!

    It's ridiculous, IMO.

I can see it happening in the same way they named Poochie in The Simpsons :D

Given that these kids are super important to the history of the show because they are Kat Slater's kids they really deserve better names than Bert and Ernie.

I'm suffering nightmares now because of the name as its making me think they intend for them to be gormless. Just thinking of them in 16 years being another Anthony and Tyler. Kat deserves so much better !

PP did indeed call her son Bertie but that's not a Sesame Street character is it? Bert and Ernie are and Sesame Street was created by Jim Henson who created the Muppets so they are muppet names.

Kat and Alfie should have called them Alfie Jr and Victor which is what I will refer to them as!

The names are okayish in their own but to have them named Bert and Ernie is a bit too much. They'll be known as the Muppet family.

    This!

Even them adding the ie on the end of Bert would be an improvement!

When I see the name Enrie I can't help but think about that hideous Milkman song by Benny Hill.
