We'll get wrist-slapped, but I'm honestly puzzled having just seen a thread disappear before I could read it.

In a nice way mods, it's your call, you're the bosses, but hey, this is a shock.

I wouldn't stick my neck out if I didn't care.

PS i refer to the apology thread. I wasn't even logged on when whatever kicked this off, apparently.

Well thanks for that - I thought I was hallucinating!

Was just about to say "Hey stoatie, where you been, what's up with the dog eating Cornwall"...and whoooosh

    Thread gone, spooky or what!

But he honestly admitted to it instead of blaming muslims and foreigners.... surely that counts for something?

i wonder if has to do with people getting a little bit sick of the very hypocritical behaviour of some posters who would normally come out to state their abhorrence of bullying, and yet are delighted to initiate and/or take part in the thinly veiled mocking, songs, piss taking, belittling and general needling of one poster because that poster's opinions are unpopular

    just a guess mind

You would think so... I always got a lesser punishment if I owned up to something. I think Kolin38's suggestion was fair.

I think more people are sick of an obvious troll, surely?

The result is that many popular posters are being banned, yet she is free to pollute this place with her ultra-right rantings.
    Seems very strange to me.

A month without pocket money is too strict for breaking Britain... a gentle slap on the wrist and to bed without dinner should do it...

Stoatie reported a couple of my posts, and got me banned for a while.

I hope he is gone for good.

EDIT: He did not "get me banned", I did that, he still reported them though

Is it because the owner of the conglomerate which ultimately owns Digital Spy is very sympathetic to the centre-right?

There does seem to be a pattern of letting any old pseudo-racist or nationalist claptrap prevail, but whenever challenged, the threads just get locked or deleted.
