    Steve came fourth? FOURTH?

That's actually really good and saddening at the same time.

I think he might have been top 3 if it hadn't been for the egg incident bringing out the sympathy vote

Steve improved a great deal from semi to final (and trounced Jordan O'Keefe out of sight this time around).

That's the downside to the egg woman. Unlucky, Steve!

She actually didn't. The final vote is a true reflection on her.

It does make you wonder if the conspiracy theories about Cowell not wanting Steve to go through because it'd take votes away from Jack had some mileage. A non-descript wildcard getting 2% of the vote and the overall result could have been very different.

Disappointingly, not too much interesting to come out of those stats. Rosie quite close one night, although 2% probably equated to over 10,000 votes.

Disappointed Thomas Bounce scored presumably one of the lowest totals of the entire week, based on the percentage. At least he actually had a modicum of talent about what he did, unlike at least a dozen of the 45. I'd have buzzed 3 or 4 on his night.

Francine took a hell of a hit to go from winning to only 2% of the vote. But then you never know if that night might have been a weak one, where on another the top two may have not been in the top 4.

    Disappointed for Steve.

An early slot in show and his end result probably effected by the egg woman. Where would he have come if he was on last?

Well done Steve he only narrowly missed out on a place in the top 3.

Poor Francine she was such a big contender and she ends up coming 10 overall although her last performance was certainly not her finest hour I always thought she had a big following.

Alex Keirl almost had a place in the final he only narrowly lost out to Francine .

Rosie O'Sullivan only missed out on the top 3 by 1% that was really close.

Francine 2nd to last in the final! Outrage. I dont think she should have sang. Katie shouldn't have been part of tonight neither Stacey Solomon too repetitive everything else was good though.

On Monday, Martin Healey only one in every 1,000 votes and that's assuming the 0.1% isn't rounded up as they don't go down to 0.0 levels?

That can't be any more than a couple of thousand votes at most.

I posted a thread on that and it looks like it does have some traction - Those votes going to Jack instead of Steve would've had it in the bag, but I suspect there was split voting.
