Wasn't there a bit of a controversy around this one being cut in places when it was released in the UK? Something to do with making sure it got a 12 rating and not above. If so it's already been dumbed down without the broadcaster having to lift a finger.
Sort of, the theatrical release was uncut at a 12A, but the DVD was cut. Disney initially said viewers were imagining things and that it had always been cut in the UK, but the BBFC Insight information for the theatrical release specifically mentioned the shot that was edited (they said that whilst the shot was fairly strong, it was narratively important and therefore contextually justified), so that claim was soon shot down. Disney then admitted they had used the wrong master, but that they weren't bothered enough to do a replacement as the hardcore fans will have imported the US release for the commentary anyway. (The UK release did not include the commentary, because it was released a few weeks before the US and the elements weren't ready.)
The shot in question was censored for the German market, where The Incredible Hulk had previously been cut from a 16 to a 12, and Iron Man had been pre-emptively cut for a 12 (but the uncut version earned a 12 anyway).
I remember all the swearing being left in Mrs Doubtfire when that first aired. The bigger question is where the hell are Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America?

So that's it for now, no Skyfall, however Albert Nobbs is also missing from the schedule, I'm guessing that'll air on BBC2 somewhere, so maybe Skyfall has yet to be scheduled, you'd think ITV would kick up a fuss by now if they were showing it though.

SIGHTSEERS premiered on film4
Just keeping on top of things so updated according to recent posts.
I think that's the only premiere from them over the holidays.
Never mind there's a number of good shows on C5 I am enjoying just now to compensate!
I had heard the schedules will be released on Tuesday afternoon
It may be different for the Xmas schedules but normally they're only finalised and locked-in two week before broadcast.
(Happy to be corrected if anyone knows for sure )
I thought it wasn't that they weren't completed but that there was a voluntary embargo on releasing them before 2 weeks beforehand?
Anyway, don't mind me, i'm hyped for xmas schedules almost being here and getting ready to post updates on this thread.
Good man.
