halifax switch to current account and get 100 pound?

Is this only eligable if you switch to another bank to halifax or can you still have another bank account with another bank and just open an account and get the 100??

    You probably have to have it as your main account so they will expect you to have your wages and/or benefits paid it to it and possibly also switch any DIrect debits to them.

    I am sure their full Ts&Cs will be on their website though.

    Doesn't stop you having account at other banks but depending on the account you have with them they may expect a minimum payment in each month to be able to continue the account.

    You can do it even if you have a Halifax account already, they keep asking me to do it but they are such greedy bloodsuckers with fees I stopped using it. As the other poster said you have to have a couple of DD's set up and £750 a month paid in to qualify.

    Think you have to let them do it so they probably close your other account when they do, banks don't miss a trick do they.
