The seat Nigel Farage's has chosen to stand in.
I wonder what this is all about?

http://www.kentonline.co.uk/thanet/news/party-expels-councillor-for-jaw-29019/?fb_ref=Default&fb_source=messageA Ukip councillor has been fired for 'jaw-dropping' comments made in a TV interview.
Rozanne Duncan was forced out "without hesitation" for bringing the party into disrepute.

Unknown to us, maybe. Presumably the party know what they said. After all, it was during a TV interview.
Obviously, those who attended the recording knew what they were, and as UKIP officials would have been there or would have had access to the recording, they too will have known what they were.
Whatever they were, they must have been very bad indeed
Unknown until the programme is broadcast.
(Thinks)
No, keep taking them!
Wild guess: Comments might have been just a tad racist. And/or homophobic?
Obviously she was a bigot when she was a member of the Conservative party for years and an elected Tory councillor for years - clearly her views didn't bother the Tories then! Now UKIP has expelled her perhaps she can rejoin her old colleagues?

Its quite shocking what some of those Tories appear to get up to - although they don't seem to get as much mainstream media coverage for it.

do UKIP hold courses on deflection techniques for their supporters or is this just something you do naturally ?
Actually, very much far from it. I didn't realise she's a former Tory. UKIP has expelled her, yet she wasn't too "radical" for the Tories?
I think that's highly relevant.
how do you know she wasn't too radical for the tories ?
given she left them to join a party that she must have thought represented her views better , once we see what they were of course ;-)
They still don't get that people aren't voting for them or their policies, they are voting against the liberal elite and the establishment.
I take it just about every political sleaze story has passed you by then ? To suggest that a right / left wing paper would ignore sleaze in a left / right wing party if they aren't UKIP is frankly bizarre.
The Daily Mail is part of the 'liberal elite' .

Never mind. Lets bash UKIP. The media believes its the thing to do at the moment, however flimsy the story or however repetative. The hacks are out in force competing with each other how best to show the Party in a bad light. There seem to be enough UKIP people naive enough to believe the Media are interested in their views whilst actually engaged in an entrapment exercise.
'Forthcoming tv programme' tells you all you need to know about the motivation behind this.
Unusually here. They support the Conservatives. In that sense, yes.
Because she left them. She wasn't booted. UKIP appears to have booted her.
Exactly. Every party gets this shit. If UKIP wanna play with the big boys, they have to understand that that's how the big boys play.
Obviously awaiting more details about this case. Was it entrapment? No idea. Don't know what she said yet! Or whether she was on sedatives....
Hope it wasn't,,
There's no place for things like that in British politics.
Yes, we simply don't know because the media have chosen not to treat this as a news item.
Normally journalists want to be first to break the news. Perhaps there are legal reasons for witholding the detail. Alternatively, broadcasting only part of a story suggests that they might be planning to make it part of a bigger splash. In other words part of a polemic documentary rather than as a single news item.
The Daily Mail support the Tories and hate UKIP unlike their readers. Cameron is part of the liberal elite.
Better than Farage being a member of the banking elite, who, we've found to our cost of billions of pounds, aren't much of an elite ability wise, just wealth wise. Our wealth.
The Daily mail have been hedging their bets recently. They are still largely pro conservative but they also recognise that (while UKIP are not the solution) UKIP are raising the issues that the man on the street wants to talk about but Cameron (not the conservatives) wants to ignore.
