Sharp Q+ for People that don't want/cant afford 4k

Sharp is launching an Aquos Q+ range that will accept a 4k signal on it's HDMI inputs and downscale it to an itermediat resolution somewhere between 1080p and and 4k. Priced midway between their 1080p and 4k sets it may appeal to people yet to be convinced of the benefit of 4k on 60" or 70" screens.

As 4K prices drop I can't see people opting for second best...
