Have you tried rebooting your box and resetting the network connection?

Better finish watching WW before the software gets onto the automatic download stream because the last box I got off Ebay which was 2 versions behind the current software automatically updated within two hours of being powered on.

    Updates don't always occur overnight.

Ok. To see if the issue is with the R010 software and not an underlying box issue that has manifested itself at the time of update, may I ask that you perform a forced software update? This will roll the box back to the latest stable software (currently R009). If there is an issue with the current R010 release, On Demand will be working again on your box.

Not sure if you can roll the software back now, when I was on the beta test I tried to roll back and couldnt, I was informed it is locked to the box.

even beta testers are able to roll back to the current live release.
do a forced update and it will revert back to the DR stream version.

There was at least one test version that couldn't be rolled back, I forget which one, probably the first beta of 008.
    :)

Nope not true, I tried and it still had the beta, was told the only way was to be removed off the beta trial.

are you on the current R010 beta ?
if you are then you should be reporting your issue via the beta forum.
having been on previous betas (R007, R008, R009) then i know you CAN revert back to DR stream versions.

so if you have R010 then it's not related to any beta, thus you got it as part of the normal upgrade process, and as R010 is not on the DR stream you can force update to take you back to R009.

Contrary to what you have stated, I said when I was on the R09 beta you were not able to force update back, so I was asking the question as to whether you can roll back now.

Pointless you answering since you have already stated incorrectly you could roll back on R09, so you probably have no first hand experience to whether you can or not.

i could when i was on the R009 beta.
in fact i did it more than once.

    as i said, i was in R007, R008, R009 beta.
if you were in the R009 beta then you would know i was in it, as i used the same name in there.

you should know by now that you're at the end of the list.
in fact, in my duties working for sky, i personally made sure that you would be last.
i also made sure that the version you got was personally made for you with extra annoying bugs and a modified 3d channel that omitted all the best content.

I was asking a legitimate question.

I gave my box details to help....

Do you actually work for Sky?

    Who may know the answer?

How can I become a beta tester

I wonder if planner sharing is coming soon?... or if anything within the latest software upgrade shows any signs of it? I did predict 2015 though with a little help.

no chance. it was canned after a length beta test (of which i was a part of)

the version you have already has the capability of doing it.
it's enabled via the viewing card.
it won't launch though as per previous answer.

I've asked the team in charge of the rollout to make sure it corrupts all recordings on your boxes when it eventually downloads (probably just before Christmas). No one can give you a definitive answer as to when your boxes will update, so please don't ask again.
