Not on purpose, but if there is much left over then I put it in the freezer. Will try to do a few before October when me and hubb will be away for two weeks, leaving son to fend for himself. Having said that, he is good and manages quite well, but if he gets home late, it will be easy for him to just put out something ready made.

No one has posted on the three word story lately. Can you put something in there please?

I don't know, but it has been going since before I used to come into chatter. I think it is just a few of us keeping it going tbh. I think everything in here goes quiet when Twass is away.

Are you doing anything over the bank holiday?

Either the Beatles or 1960's pop music.

Have you ever been on TV or radio on a quiz show? I have believe it or not.

I do remember The Word and you were on a version of that Nate, sounds interesting. What was it like ?? I've not been on TV but local radio and newspaper. :)

Lots of being herded about and stressed presenters... more fun to watch though I rubbed shoulders with a couple of minor selebs

Why are nightclubs closing at such an alarming rate??

I didn't know they were. As far as I know, all the same clubs are still open in my neck of the woods. However, like London we are also in the process of regeneration and I think a few might close here too.

I have noticed Music Festivals have grown in popularity with the younger generation, do you think they are the new rave ??

Perhaps people are coming to their senses at last and realising that night clubs are a complete waste of anyone's time and money.

Going back to the last question, I have been on Radio One, Radio Two and two local radio stations, all of them answering questions on music. With the one on Radio One, I was lucky enough to go up to Broadcasting House in London and be in the studio with Johnnie Walker. I also saw some other DJ's there as well like Tony Blackburn and David Hamilton. It was really good fun.

I am visiting relations later today. Some of them I haven't seen for a while. Do you like visiting relations or would you rather not?

    They live far away :(

cazzie - Squat parties used to be big in abandoned places in Hackney, following the Olympic Village most of these have gone. For various reasons people will be drawn to festivals but it isn't like there is much choice. Councils don't like clubs in urban areas and don't close them but certainly put prohibitive rules in place :(

Last time you went to a club, bar or pub??

Never been to a night club and have no wish to do so. Have been in pubs to eat meals very recently, and will probably be going to one for a meal with my relations later today. They are much better now that there is no smoking in them.

    Same question as last time?

My relatives live far away and we are very short on cash :(

    Do you have relatives abroad??

Yes, quite a lot dotted about the globe. Luckily all my kids have stayed local so getting together is easy enough to organise. I think social media makes connections with those far away a lot easier but it isn't the same as meeting up in person.

Do you think people make less of an effort now to meet up and just think a status on facebook is the same ??

Oh yes. We've just got back from seeing relatives and are not going to settle down to the X-Factor before bed.

I think that people leave meeting up now as everyone seems to busy to bother any more which is sad. Years ago when we didn't have cars we used to make more effort and go by bus or train to visit people, but now that most people have cars we don't seem to make much effort. It was lovely seeing our little neice today, she is nearly three and very cute and friendly.

    Have you watched the X-factor?
