The Subways are a great band, very underated though
It was the second time I had seen them - the first was in Cardiff student union Solus bar, a tiny little place, but I preferred them at that gig because I don't think they were ready for the big stage at the CIA. Still good, but I think it all got a bit lost in such a big space.
No particular favourite but some of the best gigs I've been to:
Pet Shop Boys Performance, Savoy, Nightlife, Fundamental Tours
Erasure The Innocents Tour
Grace Jones 1994
Eurythmics 1984
Soft Cell 2001
Marc Almond 1999
Depeche Mode 1986
Onetwo 2004
OMD 1982/84/86
Ultravox 2009
Sneaky Sound System 2009
Kids in Glass Houses at Cardiff Big Weekend 2009. They nailed everything perfectly. The crowd was literally eating out of the lead singer's hand by the end of the show and the band itself were just perfect.

Best Live Performance - either Rage Against The Machine or Metallica at Reading last year
She just killed it that night.. and coming out in a wedding dress to sing behind these hazel eyes really got the crowd going
Oasis, Foo Fighters, Razorlight, The Subways, Yeti.
Front row.

Absolutely outstanding - I'll never forget it!

Second best: Elbow with the Halle Orchestra this year.
Third best: Prince at the O2 (the final night).

I think I would have to rate Shepherds Bush 11/08/09 as the best.
Although whoever mentioned Rage Against The Machine was spot on great live shows!

On a smaller scale,Kimmie Rhodes at The borderline earlier this year.
Led Zeppelin 4 August 1979.AMAZING.
Turin Brakes at The Astoria in London.
