What's a good accompaniment with quiche?

I'm having a cheese, broccoli and tomato quiche tonight (kids are away, they hate it and my husband hates eggs), it's a shop bought as it's only me eating it.

What else can I eat with it? I really have no idea.

Jacket potato appeals, so does asparagus but haven't got any here :D

Won't it be too much, pastry and potato? That was my worry.

Haven't got much salad in the house either.

I had a meal out yesterday, scampi and chips, so don't really fancy chips today. Thanks anyway. :)

Coleslaw - yum. Hubby like Quiche and baked beans which I don't think go together at all.

Jacket potato and salad go with quiche. :)

I hate cold quiche tho - yeuch! Have to heat it up.

Mind you I don't like cold pasta salads either, so I'm probly just a weird one. :o

baked beans go with cheese and bacon quiches- like a cheese pie really but not with broccoli I guess.

Something with a bit of moisture needed methinks. pastry is a bit dry. What about a nice potato salad.

I have to say one of my favourite meals is a nice quiche with some new potatoes (and a knob of butter over the potatoes), a bit of salad and some coleslaw.

I have it at least once a week during the summer :)

    Truth - no :(

The whole thing was way too bland for me, I did not enjoy any of it :( Felt like chewing on some chilli flakes after just to get some flavour back in my mouth!

Tomorrow I am making a lamb curry, that should do the trick :D
