You get half off your drinks for life if you agree to get branded.
what do you mean by that?
Then the 'S' of Spotted fell off the sign.
Hot metal + skin = Tsssssss, ouch, discount!
Branded.. like with a cattle iron.

I live very close to Wisbech and had never heard of it. I just googled it and realised I have seen it but never paid attention to the name before!
It's not quite the same but we have a pub called The cock but a seclect few call it the anal as predictive text suggested this first. Kinda makes me snigger sometimes
That is soooo unfair! I've been desperate to get branded for ages. If I thought I could get it done free and get cheep booze too I’d be ecstatic! Why don’t we have stuff like that over here? UK sucks!
I went to a pub called The Cock Inn once which lead to a strange coincidence.
I know this isn’t a pub but a couple of years ago I drove past the local Burger King and the neon sign was broken. So in massive white, neon lights at the side of the main road it just said,
“BU GER ING”
I nearly peed myself!
I don't understand that at all. I understand tattoos, but branding?
Tracked down some photos of the brand, it's a drawing of the owner's face:

That's really nice. Subtle and delicate. I want a buffalo doing in that exact same way. But no, it's tattoos I don't get. Aren't they kind of tacky?
Did used to work with a couple of gay guys who both left the company at the same time to take over a pub called the Fighting Cocks. I do wonder whether they changed the sign to something more representative?
I always snigger at the Firkin pubs

Although they've been rebranding themselves as just "The Biz".. probably to get rid of the double negative.
Is that Linlithgow?
Yes it is.
Thought so, we loved a good pub crawl thro Linlithgae:D
was funny when my dad was talking to someone there and the guy said you have to be careful when you're googling it. then something about scunthorpe....not sure what he meant by that though
How odd that's my local too
 Bar or lounge?
