Not really - 2-minute packages on news is one thing - undercover reports are also needed..

This is quite eye-opening. I had no idea they gave them only seconds to "pick" items, the pressure must be huge. Don't think I could do it.

Wish they'd all stop moaning and pick my order. Maybe I would have got my xbox on release date instead of a day later

"Counselling" is obviously their term for "bollocking".
    Or "performance management"

They clearly work their arses off so maybe you should stop whining about receiving your order *gasp* a whole DAY late.

I'm shocked and disappointed by this. Not what I would expect from Amazon.

I do feel sorry for that guy losing his business but how can he blame amazon exactly? He sells books why don't he blame Whsmiths or Waterstones or some other book shop.

Ok - I'm joking. But... I know someone who works there as a picker and he says that although it's tough sometimes, it's really not as bad as this programme makes out. Not a job for everyone, granted - but I do wonder if all the complaining says more about the work ethic in this country than it does about amazon. I worked in a sandwich factory for 6 months once, doing 12 hour shifts constantly just chopping cabbages for coleslaw. Amazon looks a piece of pee compared to that

OH **** RIGHT OFF WITH THIS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is such a DOUBLE VEILED attack on the government ..... through a company that's given a choice of what taxes to give BY GOVERNMENT .....

but let's dress it up by attacking the company's OBVIOUS stalg-like treatment of it's workers!!!!!

NO ONE should be running about for ten hour's straight ..... that would knacker ANYONE out ..... but heaven help anyone who has to hear ******* BEEPS FROM A GODDAMN MACHINE EVERY MINUTE OR SO!

you might become mentally ill or even DEAD

might as well buy your product from the nice little local shop instead ..... should have shown the program NEXT WEEK then ..... you know ..... because there's that day for small business on the 9th .....

i'm sorry but this is BEYOND trivial ..... and sounds like a bunch of damn WHINERS to me!

basic fact, they don't employ enough people to cover the area and time time for the shift, and they should address that ..... perhaps with the tax they've saved then!

the most pointless and worthless thing panorama have EVER DONE!

I want to stop using Amazon (partly due to their tax avoidance stance, and due to their use of CityLink), but I'm agoraphobic and can't go out much, and I don't like other sites as much.

It's true and it's true that you get penalised for being ill etc.

Bloody hell! That is *definitely* unsafe! And completely unfair...
